Creating the new year

There is something quite wonderful about a fresh, new calendar!

As we begin a new year, the 365 days are laid out before us on clean, unsullied squares, as an artist's blank canvas waiting for us to create something beautiful.

A new year - full of hope and possibility.

They say God made the word round so we could not see too far down the road. Yet with the new year spread out before me, I envision a marvelous future. A future of trials and tribulations, yes. And also a future filled with successes and celebration. A future where we can and will be whoever and whatever we choose to be.

We are not our circumstances.

We have the ability to create anew.

Together - no matter what - we can create the world as we want it to be.
